3.3. Schedule of routine maintenance

Annually or each 15 000 km of a run

At the car standing on the earth check serviceability of functioning:

• Governing bodies and measuring devices (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation);
• The heater fan (see the Section Check of Operability of Lighting Fixtures, a horn and the fan of a heater);
• Horn (see the Section Check of Operability of Lighting Fixtures, a horn and the fan of a heater);
• Devices of internal and external lighting, if necessary regulate an inclination of headlights (see the Section Check of Operability of Lighting Fixtures, a horn and the fan of a heater and the Head Onboard electric equipment);
• Washers and cleaners of glasses and lenses of headlights, if necessary regulate them (see the Section Check of a State, adjustment and replacement of brushes of screen wipers);
• Illuminations of devices, control lamps and indicators (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation and the Section Check of Operability of Lighting Fixtures, a horn and the fan of a heater).

At completely lifted car:

• Replace motive oil and an oil filter (see the Section Replacement of Motive Oil and Oil Filter);
• Check a condition of hinges of steering (see the Section Check of a Condition of Protective Covers of Power Shafts and Hinges of the Driveshaft and Head Suspension bracket and steering);
• Check a condition of the steering mechanism (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering and Head Suspension bracket and steering);
• Check a condition of hinges, epiploons and covers of a suspension bracket (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Belts of the Drive of Auxiliary Units and Head Suspension bracket and steering).

At the lifted car back/front:

• Check a condition of brake shoes and disks of forward and back brakes (see the Section the General checks of the brake system);
• Check a condition of tires and pressure of their rating (see the Section Check of a Condition of Tires and Pressure of Their Rating, rotation of wheels);
• Check efforts of tightening of wheel nuts (103 Nanometers).

Having opened a cowl, check level and, if necessary, add:

• Liquid of a washer of glasses and lenses of headlights (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks);
• Brake fluid (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks);
• ATF (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks);
• Check also a condition of the air filter and if necessary clear it (see the Section Replacement of the Filtering Air Cleaner Element).

You carry out a test trip during which check:

• Side play of a steering wheel (no more than 30 mm);
• Serviceability of functioning of a suspension bracket (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering);
• Performance data of the engine;
• Transmission;
• Brakes, including the ABS system (see the Section the General checks of the brake system);
• Instrumentations (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation).

Time in 2 years or each 30 000 km of a run

At the car standing on the earth check:

• The course of a pedal of a working brake (see the Section Check and adjustment of the course of pedals of the working and parking brake);
• The course of a lever/pedal of the parking brake, if necessary regulate it (see the Section Check and adjustment of the course of pedals of the working and parking brake);
• Lines of supply of fuel (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Hoses of a Motive Compartment, localization of leaks);
• Condition of panels of a body (see the Head Kuzov);
• The directing covers of the top hatch, if necessary grease them (see the Head Kuzov);
• Check serviceability of functioning of the uniform lock (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation);
• Check serviceability of functioning of anticreeping system and the alarm system (see the Head Governing bodies and methods of operation);
• Check the angles of installation of forward and back wheels (see the Head Podvesk and steering).

At completely lifted car:

• Replace oil of the transfer case;
• Replace oil of back differential;
• Check a condition of hoses of GUR (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Hoses of a Motive Compartment, localization of leaks);
• Check a condition of couplings of a steering column (see the Head Podvesk and steering);
• Check efforts of tightening of fixture of support of a suspension bracket (see specifications to the Head Podvesk and steering);
• Check a condition of hinges of the driveshaft (see the Section Check of a Condition of Protective Covers of Power Shafts and Hinges of the Driveshaft);
• Check a condition of hinges, epiploons and covers of power shafts (see the Section Check of a Condition of Protective Covers of Power Shafts and Hinges of the Driveshaft).
• Check a condition of springs and dampers of racks of a suspension bracket (see the Section Check of a Condition of Components of a Suspension Bracket and Steering and Head Suspension bracket and steering);
• Check a condition of system of release of OG (see the Section Check of a Condition of System of Production of the Fulfilled Gases);
• Check for corrosion existence brake tubes (see Sections the General checks of the brake system and Check of a state and replacement of hoses of a motive compartment, localization of leaks);
• Check a power supply system for existence of leak of fuel (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Hoses of a Motive Compartment, localization of leaks);
• Check a condition of the bottom and a noise isolation of salon (see the Head Kuzov).

At the lifted car back/front:

• Check wear of boots of the parking brake (see the Section Check of Boots of the Parking Brake);
• Check a condition of the brake system (see the Section the General checks of the brake system and the Head the Brake system);
• Replace brake fluid (each 2 years, irrespective of a run) (see the Section Replacement of Brake Fluid, pumping of the brake system).

Having opened a cowl:

• Check level and, if necessary, add GUR liquid (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks);
• Check level and, if necessary, add OZh, check concentration of antifreeze (see the Section Check of Levels of Liquids, control of leaks);
• Check a condition of hoses of the cooling system of the engine (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Hoses of a Motive Compartment, localization of leaks);
• Replace the hammered saloon filter of systems of heating and To/in (see the Section Check and replacement of the saloon filter of a heater and To/in)
• Check a condition of the EVAP system (see the Section Check of the EVAP System).

Each 3 years or 45 000 km of a run

• Replace OZh * (see the Section Replacement of the Cooling Liquid (CL));
• Replace the air filter (see the Section Replacement of the Filtering Air Cleaner Element).

* It is recommended to replace OZh after 3 years of operation or 60 000 km of a run, and then – each 30 000 km of a run or times in 2 years.

Each 6 years or 90 000 km of a run

• Check and, if necessary, regulate valvate gaps (see the Section Check and adjustment of valvate gaps);
• Check a state and tension of belts of the drive of auxiliary units * (see the Section Check of a State and Replacement of Belts of the Drive of Auxiliary Units);
• Replace spark plugs (see the Section Check and replacement of spark plugs).

* Then this procedure it is necessary to produce each 15 000 km of a run.

Each 10 years or 150 000 km of a run

• Check reliability of fastening of seat belts * (see specifications to the Head Kuzov);
• Visually check SRS system blocks * for existence of damages (see the Head Onboard electric equipment);
• Replace a GRM drive belt (see the Section Removal, check and installation of a belt of the GRM drive of its natyazhitel, pulley and cogwheel of a bent shaft, cogwheels of camshafts and intermediate rollers).

* Then it is necessary to make this procedure each 2 years.
